Global aluminum production distribution

Global bauxite output has been relatively stable in recent years, with the combined output of Australia, China, and Guinea accounting for over 72%. From 2020 to 2022, global bauxite output will be stable at around 380 million tons, which is basically stable. The main mining countries of bauxite in the world are Australia, China, and Guinea. Australia ranks first with an annual output of 110 million tons, accounting for 26.3%, followed by China and Guinea, accounting for 23.7% and 22.6% respectively. Production is more concentrated.

Global alumina production is gradually increasing, and China is the country with the largest alumina production in the world. After the growth rate of alumina production peaked in 2017, global alumina production slowed down significantly. In 2022, global alumina production will be 140 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%, basically the same as the previous year. Among them, China has become the largest alumina producer with a share of 54.3%, Australia and Brazil accounted for 14.3% and 14.3% respectively. 7.9%, the cumulative output of the top three countries accounts for 76.4%, and production is relatively concentrated. The Difference Between Solid Die and Hollow Die

Solid Die

The solid die is relatively simple, as long as the split hole is designed, the aluminum handle is squeezed out of the flat flag hole to form a cross section after mixing.

Hollow Die

Hollow dies are generally combined by two combined molds, so that the cavity can be formed by splitting the flow through the working belt during extrusion, such as aluminum shells and round tubes.

For ordinary extrusion dies, to produce hollow profiles, a splitter die must be used, which consists of an upper die and a lower die. The upper die is generally used to guide flow and position the hollow part of the hollow profile. The lower mold is the outer surface working belt and empty knife.

Most of the non-hollow profiles use solid dies. Generally speaking, there is only one mold including diversion and working belts. Of course, there are special cases. Here we only explain the general production conditions.
