According to customs data, China's export volume of aluminum and its products (Chapter 76 of the Customs Tariff) in December was 677,000 tons, an increase of 1.2% from November and basically the same. Compared with the high single-month export volume of 900,000 tons in May this year, it dropped 24.8%. After China's exports of aluminum and its products experienced four consecutive months of decline from August to November, exports stopped falling and stabilized in December. Exports in December were US$2.94 billion, basically the same as in November.

The goods in Chapter 76 of the Customs Tariff mainly include four categories: aluminum and aluminum alloys, aluminum processed materials, aluminum products, and scrap aluminum. Among them, the export volume of aluminum processing materials in December was 448,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 3.7%. Among aluminum processed materials, the exports of aluminum plates and strips were 241,500 tons, a month-on-month increase of 5.9%; the exports of aluminum foil were 108,700 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2%; the exports of aluminum extruded materials were 84,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.2%. Aluminum product exports in December were 207,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 3.7%. Exports of aluminum and aluminum alloys in December were 21,000 tons, basically the same as last month.
